Why Glamis Gazette

Glamis Castle is situated in Angus, Scotland and has been the home of the Earls of Strathmore since 1372. It has a rich history having been visited by many of the influential figures of British history.
It is also the setting for Shakespeare’s Macbeth.
Glamis Castle’s most recent fame stems from its close connection with the current British Royal Family. Glamis was the childhood home of the late Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother (the youngest daughter of the 14th Earl) and the birthplace of Her Royal Highness The Princess Margaret.
