Student Support Services
At Strathmore Secondary College, we understand that student wellbeing is fundamental to academic success. We believe that a supportive and nurturing environment fosters not only personal growth but also enhances learning outcomes. By prioritising student wellbeing, we create a foundation where students feel valued, safe, and empowered to thrive academically and socially. Through a range of tailored programs, support services, and a strong sense of community, we ensure that every student has the opportunity to reach their full potential. At Strathmore, we recognise that when students are emotionally and mentally well, they are better equipped to excel in their studies and beyond.
There are 6 wellbeing staff available at the college who can provide support. This may include one on one counselling, support in developing plans to help students study and learn or referrals to external support. The wellbeing team is located around the college library. Students are welcome to visit to say ‘Hi’ or make an appointment via their student coordinator.
